Ok, I got it
Leave the memorial?
...this is the sad page.
This is Wally. Wally the Perch. He was my baby...up until September 15th. I can't say he died peacefully, nor was he even given a proper grave, but here, I will give him a memorial.
Through thick and thin,
The world ahead
Is always dark
But don't give in
Little fish,
Oh, don't you cry
Your master's coming
To see you swim
But all she will see
Is her dead little fish
Oh, please don't die!
You came, and you went,
You swayed, and you bent,
As she turns her head
She lets out a sigh
For her poor little fish
Has left this earth
And has taken a swim
Down the toilet's rim.

Oh, little fish,
It makes me cry
To think of what you
Could have been,
Of what you
Could have become.

You might have found your kin,
And found your own special mate,
But now all hope is gone
For you are doomed
To your fate.
You could have laid eggs,
You could have been free,
But, oh, you came to me,
I blame myself
For had I let you go,
You could have been a
Grandfather, great-great-great at that,
You could have seen
What the world was like
Through small, black eyes
But now, because of her,
That little fish
Now dries in the great, wide open
Never to be remembered
Through the passing of time,
Except by her...
And the one token she possesses,
A picture, clear and bright,
And she keeps it dearly,
Her one possession that is of him,
But slowly, it too grows dim.

But, little fish,
You need not worry about
What is to come
For there is One
Who guides over all.

Through thick and thin,
The world ahead is always dark,
But don't give in,
Little fish,
Don't ever give in.
For when the trumpets sound,
And the clouds part,
And the sun no longer shines,
The little fish will come
To be at his master's side.
Wally, we love you, and miss you. I won't ever forget you. Good-bye, Wally. See you again someday!
And for Al. We don't have any pictures of her, sadly. We buried her on Saturday, April 5th. She was discovered dead on Friday, the day before. I don't honestly know when she died, because it might have been a few days before that, and I just didn't notice.

I don't even have any poems or anything for her, just loving memory. I really hope to see her again, at God's throne.
In loving memory of Wally the Perch, and Al the Gerbil.
